From Promise to Possession

There’s a difference between celebrating what God said and walking in what God promised. In the Focus series, we were reminded that excitement alone doesn’t move us forward, obedience does. Scripture shows us again and again that God’s promises require our participation. Joshua didn’t step into the land by shouting alone; he moved by staying aligned with God’s instruction. Faith isn’t passive. It responds, it steps, and it keeps moving even when the path feels uncomfortable.
Many of us love the promise, but hesitate at the process. Yet possession only comes when faith turns belief into action. This doesn’t require perfection, it requires alignment.
Action step:Â
Identify one promise God has spoken over your life that you’ve been celebrating but not yet moving toward.
Write down the next obedient step, no matter how small, and commit to taking it this week.
As we learn to move from promise to possession together, we invite you to worship freely in God with us this Sunday at Liberty Worship Christian Center.
